OSS Consultant

THE LOCATION:

Broomfield, Colorado

THE ROLE:

This position will be needed for our professional services business to support I-IT, Adtran, all Gulf States business and most other services engagements. This position will support all OSS presales activities including meetings, RPF and documents as the SME in addition to project related tasks such as application implementation, creation of equipment and service models, user documentation and customer support.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

In depth background with activation and inventory systems. Specific hands on experience with Telcordia’s Granite inventory system. Experience with equipment and service modeling. A strong focus for DSL and access technologies. Knowledge of data models, south bound interfaces from Granite to Element Management Systems and peer Network management Systems such as Activation and Fault. Ability to install and configure the Granite system and create end-user documentation based on the specific implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10 years OSS experience at the network management layer and a minimum of three years hands on experience with Granite and equipment models.
  • Experience with activation NMS and Inventory NMS and thir information models.
  • BS in Computer Science

Enterprise Systems Architect

THE LOCATION:

Broomfield, Colorado

THE ROLE:

The Enterprise Software Architect works closely with product management and engineering personnel to define and implement software solutions according to business strategies and goals for enterprise perfonnance management software developed by NetTraffic.

The Enterprise Software Architect is a member of the product management team, with responsibility for the software strategy and architecture of NetTraffic products and solutions. This position will contribute to existing projects with our Telcom clients. Ultimately, this resource is responsible for contributing to the marketing, development, and strategic direction of the software products.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This resource will contribute heavily to the requirements process for our clients, but once the requirements process is complete, this resource will transition to managing the delivery of software to our clients in addition to other duties related to the development and strategy of our software products. I would expect that they would spend 100% of their time working through requirements, KPLI's, KQIs, and any other customer issues and needs while tour clients projects are contingent upon the performance of the product management group. This resource is needed to support the software products independent of any customers, but will contribute to our projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of software architecture experience
  • Minimum CCNP certification or equivalent, CCIE preferred
  • Detailed understanding of Netfiow, IPFIX, SHow, NAT, QoS, CIFS, Firewalls, and common network communication protocols such as HTTP and SFTP
  • Detailed knowledge of SNMP and MIB technologies such as RMONI, RMON2, SMON, DMON, MIB-TI, and SMI
  • Knowledge of telecom carrier and enterprise data communication networks
  • Knowledge of common enterprise performance management solutions and tools such as IBM Netcool, InfoVista, Computer Associates, and Solar Winds
  • Familiarity with Cisco NAM and other Cisco telecommunications products. Familiarity with Jumper and Alcatel-Lucent network equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems with creative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and with various technical and non-technical entities
